Frances Walker was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She Graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Art History.

Working from her Atlanta studio, Frances Walker’s process is organic and defined by her attention to color and form. Inspired by her life’s narrative and passions, she produces dreamy, graceful, and romantic collections. She often imagines her work in the home of its future collectors, aesthetically elevating rooms with boundless color.

Her paintings explore qualities of luminosity, translucence, and prismatic iridescence. Her personal philosophy of color, her manifestation of abstraction, and intentionality with conceptual detailing interact with her paintings in both unexpected and ethereal ways.
